I love WUP.
It makes me feel alive.
I hate iLok.
It makes me fell caged.

I really like the direction of this plugin. Ideally you'd want 1 plugin to do everything multiple plugins did and just as well, and this seems to try and do that.
Shimmer, vintage digital, spring, & "modern" all in one package, whereas generally people have separate plugins for each of these tasks.
Now, whether it actually sounds good or not is another matter entirely, and the UI is pretty damn awful. I'd love to try it but iLok being a requirement to demo is a dealbreaker for me.

Dongle is not required - and installing ilok manager is just as any other soft protection, not an issue at all.
Great plugin btw - GUI is ok, but what I like is that there are no multiple tabs, everything is here at first sight. High quality sound, its comparable to competitors - but, will it do CRP or Stratus sound, no, it wont. Not sure if I need that type of sound at all. But for regular reverb duties, this is more than enough.

Well, that's definitely not true. I won't be able to use the dongle as I don't have any USB ports left on my laptop. 1 for interface, 2 for USB hubs for MIDI connection already. Cloud is possible currently, but when I build my new studio hopefully this year, it won't have internet unless I use phone connection, which is not what I'd call reliable or reasonable. Which leaves machine authorisation - which was what gave PACE the reputation for being arseholes and peddlers of a virus program all those years ago when they truly were an arsehole company. So, actually yeah, it is an issue.HcDoom wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 11:38 pm Dongle is not required - and installing ilok manager is just as any other soft protection, not an issue at all.![]()

Do you use external monitor? Those have many spare USB ports. Mine works that way.kritikon wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 6:38 pmWell, that's definitely not true.
