There's nothing on their home page about it that I saw, but their Support page had more information:
https://www.steinberg.net/licensing/eli ... f-service/

It's right on the top banner, near the Steinberg logo.planetearth wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 11:42 pmThere's nothing on their home page about it that I saw, but their Support page had more information:

Yes, I see it now, thanks. It's just very small when compared to all their noise about NAMM and other stuff. And it doesn't appear at all on my phone.felis wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 2:26 amIt's right on the top banner, near the Steinberg logo.planetearth wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 11:42 pmThere's nothing on their home page about it that I saw, but their Support page had more information:

The emails I got from Steinberg seemed to indicate anyone who doesn't upgrade to their new licensing system before they shut down elicenser will lose their upgrade path. Did I understand that correctly?
I guess I'm done with Steinberg if that's true. Bummer, but I'm on 10.5 which is what, 5 years old? Seems a conspicuously short time for a company to deem an upgrade path invalid.

Yes. If the license, to be upgraded, has to go from eLicenser to Steinberg Licensing then that has to be done before it shuts down.Razzia wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:39 pm The emails I got from Steinberg seemed to indicate anyone who doesn't upgrade to their new licensing system before they shut down elicenser will lose their upgrade path.
