Pigments 6 presets load very slowly/lag

Hi community,

I'm actually very new to synths generally and to Pigments too. I've had Pigments 5 since Black Friday and it seemed to be running well, but after loading the Pigments 6 update, a lot of the presets seem to load with a long stall where there interface is unresponsive. Is anyone else seeing this? I'd like to think it's a setting or something, but I haven't changed anything in particular.

Yup, same here.. takes forever to load on my FAST PC, but my Macbook Pro is fine... hopefully they'll fix this soon

An important distinction: I'm also running on Windows. Haven't tried on a Mac.

I would ask about this on Arturia forum, or try to remove and reinstall Pigments again.

Same issue here, fresh install of Pigments 6 on Windows 11. UI Unresponsive. It works in Komplete Kontrol, but is a bit laggy. Fast PC.

I was also experiencing long load times, so I removed my 50gb sample folder from the external folder directory and instead just imported some folders within that library that I normally use, and everything is pretty much fine now. So it's basically the same old sample recall shenanigans we encounter in pretty much any other instrument that deals with samples.
