I downloaded the version that is now about 2 hours old. I'm not seeing how to resize the GUI.baconpaul wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 3:46 pm Alright the keypress entry thing is fixed after chatting with a few other friendly devs in clap and juce land. You can grab a version in the nightly https://github.com/baconpaul/six-sines/ ... ag/Nightly. I tested live 11 and live 12 windows. I didn't have my S1 NFR on the windows box so I didn't test there but I am confident the fix will work. That nightly also has UI scaling for those of you with smaller screens.

This is a good class of idea so I banged it in this afternoonHiEnergy wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 7:17 am I want to do some proper PWM that doesn't change its rate dependent on the frequency of the note being played.
Therefore I'd like to see one (or more) of the following features:
- Fixed ratio offset in Hz
- Fixed oscillator frequency tunable down below 7.72 Hz (ideally down to 0 Hz) for slow phase shifting
- An LFO modulating an oscillator's phase leading to that oscillator's phase being shifted while it's sounding (not just the initial onset phase)
How I did it. The next nightly (should be up in ~30 mins) will have a 'Lo' option on the keytrack slider. So when you disable keytrack the default slider is the audible midi keyboard range roughly (technically notes -1 to 139). But if you activate the 'lo' button the slider changes to have a range from 0 to 10 hz.

VST3 version now working in both DAWs. Thanks heaps and appreciating the other recent additions as well.

Quick question baconpaul, and maybe it's nothing, but, maximum/infinite release times are usually pretty scary in the plugin world as that is a sure fire way to kill the session and melt your DAW.
Does it matter that nearly all parameters default to max release?

It does not, because the main aeg defaults to non max release and that gates the voice. The setting on the other envelopes (zero dahd 1s 1r) basically bypasses the envelope altogether so the signal is un enveloped and runs for the length of the voice whatever that is (again controlled by the main release)

Downloaded the nightly today. I use the clap version with Bitwig 5.3.7 on Win11.
The synth does not react on changes of Parameters while sequencer is playing ... only after stopping it and restarting it changes are getting into effect. This way sound design is not possible.

Update: The VST3 Version of todays nightly is the same.

The 'power' parameters are snapped at voice on but i can change and hear param changes when playing with a sequencer in bitwig no problem. Just again like i said if i change a power-button parameter the change occurs at the next voice.
(If you are in legato mode you may not be getting a new voice).

Just a heads up folks, found a major bug in the auv2. If you are using logic and are not at 44.1khz there will be problems.
I've found a fix and a new nightly is building now. I also swept the fix back to stable, so a 1.0.5 is building now. If you are a au user and run at not-44.1 you should upgrade.
(Also: This fixes the au-wont-load-in-live problem. The live decision to throw an error when sample rate is misconfigured is one I like much more than the logic decision to just run your synth anyway with the wrong sample rate....)

Man, programming a snare sound is pretty difficult on this. Seems like it should be easy since it has a million envelopes, but everything effects everything in a way that's too much for my brain to fully process and predict.
Is there a way to change the tuning of all the operators at the same time, so the entire patch is pitch shifted and the operators stay tuned relative to each other? There's a Tune knob on the "main" panel, but it only goes to 200 cents.

Here's a kick and a snare patch I made. Apply some gain and compression to taste.briefcasemanx wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 4:20 am Man, programming a snare sound is pretty difficult on this. EDIT: No it does change but only when there are no notes playing, so for an arp where the notes overlap you would not hear the changes until playback is stopped and restarted or there is a break in the pattern.
EDIT 2: This is similar to the issue described by Peter [H] above however only with the unison settings, source, matrix, mod parameters etc. are fine on this vst3 release
Hi all, might have a bug? Been playing around with the settings changing voices, portamento and unison and noticed that the main unison ratio shift (like de-tune) and the main unison stereo field can only be changed when in Poly mode, however these changes will be preserved when switching to Mono (and back to Poly), including the unison width.
Also, I'm not sure what Piano Mode does?
Running 02-02 nightly on Win10 and Live 12

Hi
Yes this isn’t an issue as much as an optimization - at note in we snap things like unison and power buttons and the mono mode never creates a new voice - without this we have to run all operators and all envelopes at all times even if not used.
There’s a stop all voices button in the play section which will restart a voice for you if you don’t want to restart the arp
Piano mode is legato per key with repeated keypress in poly mode
