Hi Stian,

Now when DeNoise can save a noise profile, why not to use this profile in DeFilter? Thus, DeFilter will work with frequencies that are above the noise level. I know DeFilter has The Signal level threshold parameter. However, with the noise profile from DeNoise that feature can work much better. You recon?

Thanks,
Vitaly.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'd probably rather add the noise profile detection directly into DeFilter. The detection based on pure noise is straight-forward averaging and that way users that don't have Restoration Suite would benefit as well. We'll consider this for future updates.

Best,
Stian

Hi,
I have another idea... would it be possible to extract an EQ2-Preset from De-Filter? Of course, some algorithm needs to breakdown the most important features into a few filters.

Yet antother one, that might be a low-hanging fruit:

I used the weighting curve with only one data point to decrease the overall intensity of the correction. For creative and mixing puposes it would be really cool to be able to boost the correction to more than 100% and also to scale to a negative curve, i.e. invert it.

Best,
Simon
