I've already got my favorites from the collection.
$149 - Here you go:

Thanks but it says "purchased via plugin boutique". Didn't purchase through them from what I recall.

Did you enter your discount code at checkout on Korg's website? It is not automatically applied. I only have M1, Wavestation and MDE-X and it reduced my price to upgrade from 199 to something about 130 dollars.

At Korg, I can get a discount code in my account to bring it down to ~130€ as an owner of Prophecy. At pluginboutique, the crossgrade is 111€, but they say I am not eligible for the crossgrade because I haven't bought Prophecy there. IMO, they should not care at all whether I am eligible, this is something between me and Korg.
But you can send a proof for eligibility, which I did yesterday, and I am still waiting for them to finally allow me to buy this.
Afaik, other shops are selling crossgrades without forcing you to buy the stuff there or requiring a proof, but the ~20€ is worth the hassle for me.

Oh that's weird. I had gone there yesterday and clicked the "Buy" icon next to the coupon code and it took me to a product page for $199. But what I didn't realize is that it didn't actually apply the coupon. Thanks for that! Got the price down to $132.

No love for the Poly-800 or Poly-800 mkII?

They were fun little synths in their time. It probably wouldn't be difficult to make a VSTi version of them. Maybe they could add a few modern features to the original feature set, just for fun. They could even emulate some of the modifications people have done to them, and allow us to switch between stock and modded-out versions. It could be fun! :D

(Did not grab yet, my price 149, have just old KLC both bundles, no any new stuff)

So what wanted ro say, did spent some time today for check Korg 2600 vs TimeWarp v1.6, and seriously i liked TW character more. Ofcourse pretty difficult to cover all scenarios for full compare, but i tried to find most extreme modes, with filter selfoscillation particularly and relate modulations. Actually i like more even how sounding just filter itself (in TW). That strange.
Whereas TW make almost zero cpu usage with 1 voice, and 18% with max 8 voices. (Korg 2600 29% with 8 voices, at default patch).
At other hand, ofcourse there is more features in Korg version (like additional filter types switch or sequencer, that not a bad). But nonetheless.

PS Damn TW from 2006 year, that astoundingly.

If you hadn't seen it yet, Full Bucket makes a pretty excellent free version of the Poly 800, the Fury-800.

Between everything that Korg has put out, and what Full Bucket has put out based on Korg, there are some pretty great Korg synths available through the whole company timeline.

Full Bucket stuff is quite good. I don't know how one guy manages to maintain so many good, free plugins.

At the end I grabbed this. Does someone know where the presets lie on Windows? Normally I symlink that location to my preset folder on a different drive. It's hard to see because this seems to use a database and factory data gets mixed with used data. I have looked at:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\KORG\ARP 2600\System

You need to run it before finding them :

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yes, it's there, but I assume that my presets get mixed with the factory content, which I'd ideally don't want/like to have in my preset drive/folder. Am I right?

I often start with the "Init Performance" patch but when you save a preset you have to manually change all the other fields "author", "collection", "notes" etc. which is annoying - otherwise it saves your preset with the factory presets. I should (and will do NOW!) save a copy of the init patch under my own name and start with that from now on.

Oh! Makes sense. When I wrote I hadn't already discovered how collections work. I will check again and do the same as you with the init patch. Thanks!
