Big fan of the original, if it's got better keys they should be pretty good, because the originals were
awesome imo...

Well, GC had the TC-Electronic PlethoraX1 in stock. It's in before the tariffs.

Also, I think I should get a utility mixer, either XPAN or perhaps Three Tom modular's mixing flask. I know XPAN pairs well with Sarajewo, but other than that I don't know much.
I really like ALM's Tangle Quartet because it can be a mixer, 4 individual VCAs, 4 attenuators or whatever. I'm also a big fan of Happy Nerding's 3xMIA and Dual xFade. The various clones of Veils are probably also great.

I use Behringer Four Play and Befaco Percall as VCAs.
For CV mixing, Make Noise Maths, 3xMIA and Manhattan Analog MVP.
Audio mixing, Erica Synths Drum Mixer.

And I decided to get the Liven Ambient Ø directly from the Sonicware website after selling my Launchpad Pro MKIII. There's a competition for it ending February 23, and the top 3 winners will each get a $200 coupon! I'm a sucker for xmod and ringmod sounds, and that Liven has it! Not to mention, the built-in noise samples remind me of the soundscapes from the Casio MT-540, as well as the SFX version of Hiroshi Yoshimura's Green album.

Yea, I may not be able to keep from getting one of those.

Played around with Plume last night and got it to consistently output a nice envelope by sending one from Envy machine into “amount” in the “window” section. Sending one out into Sarajewo and three outs from it into my mixer with T1 and T2 on channels that pan L-R yields spectacular results. Will def record.

Ordered a Chase Bliss Audio Reverse Mode C pedal for my birthday.

I was torn between this and their Thermae pedal, which would have been killer for the pitch shifting/sequenced pitch changes. Ultimately, I decided (without hands on experience) Thermae would be good to have in an addition to a regular delay… and Rev C is stereo.

So a mixer with panning for mono inputs. Two choices are Make Noise XPAN and After Later mingles. Reading the manual, XPAN’s x-fade and pan cv inputs are 0 to 8 volts; I guess 0 for fully left and 8 for fully right. That would be a problem if I used Pam because it output just +5v. Mingles has its own LFO but each of the two sides share the same one. Hmn

If you can handle only having manual panning available maybe look at Tesseract TexMix.

Erica synths drum mixer isn’t going to do it, only has pan on one channel. I like to pan my drums around and right now I only have 2-3 effects that are stereo out (not counting Sarajewo that is three mono).

I use several pairings of these (+mults) for that very purpose:

Chase Bliss Audio Onward is on its way too.

Next week should be fun with both that and the Reverse Mode C.

Nice, I haven’t even been paying attention to what they’re making lately, will have to check it out. :tu:
