I noticed i started to like those realistic looking GUI's a bit. Am i getting old?

Perhaps... The bigger question being, what is the potential degree of 'risk' that this is an indicator of a latent desire to acquire actual "realistic" hardware.

What's your music like?

Have you reverted to ambient or drone music? Modular electronic ramblebloop? If so then yes probably. But it is OK if it is your hobby, there is likely no reason you should stop.

Seems like just yesterday I was grooving to the Prodigy's Out of Space.
I have always been coveting good synths, and still don't have much to show for it.
