The support says that it’s an old product with no support, they don’t want to add these activations to native access - so no half of my sound packs can’t be edited
That's only true if you don't own newer versions of Massive, FM8 and Absynth. If you do, there's an option to tick in the settings to allow those newer (and activated) version to replace the ones that can't be activated.
Settings > plugins > bypass integrated engines for newer VST plugins version.
You can’t edit kore sounds with newer versions, than kore2 crashes
Kore 2 doesn't crash here (running Windows 11 with the Kore 2 controller plugged-in). Kore library presets, synths banks and soundpacks open fine in their respective plugins.
Can you edit massive, fm8 and absynth patches, are u using latest versions of these plugins in kore ?

Yes and everything is up-to-date as I downloaded the synths through Native Access.
Absynth is 5.3.4
FM8 is 1.4.6
Massive is 1.5.12

2) Run installer (obviously you will need to use the rightclick/install method to bypass Gatekeeper) - if you have your original install DVD it will ask for this - if you don't you need to mount a copy of the original iso installer, which used to be available from the NI website but I can't see it anymore on the downloads site, but PM me if you have a problem there ;)
3) Once installed activation should be just a case of copying your serial from https://www.native-instruments.com/en/m ... downloads/ (https://nativeinstruments.sjv.io/c/4241666/2395443/29910?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.native-instruments.com%2Fen%2Fmy-account%2Fmy-products-serials-downloads%2F) and entering into NA. However I found that while it did accept it at first I still couldn't see Kore 2 in NA, so had to close NA, then manually copy over a couple of files from Carbon Copy Clone of Mohave (com.native-instruments.Kore2.plist and com.native-instruments.Kore2.plist.lockfile from Library/Preferences), then reopen NA and activate it again.
4) I couldn't install most of my sound packs as they are packaged with InstallerVise, which doesn't work on Big Sur but I found you can bypass that by copying the files over manually and then using the same trick of copying over the .plists to make them show in NA, then entering the serials from my account. The file locations for these are:

Sample content goes in Kore 2 Sample Content
Libraries go in /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content
Soundpack files (with a .ksp extension) go in Shared Content/Soundpacks and
The Pack sounds go in Shared Content/Sounds/SoundPacks (apart from the ones for Absynth, Massive and FM8 which go in their respective folders)

If NA tells you it needs these relocating then point it to those locations once you have copied over the content

I didn't install the hardware drivers - those will not work - I plan to use Kore software as I did under Mohave by creating a midi template for it in Komplete Kontrol and mapping the XY to my Lightpad Block

It's crashed a few times on plugin scan though - I may end up creating a dedicated VST folder for safe plugins
Hey, I just switched to MacOS from Win11 and I have problems with Kore 2 installation. Unfortunately I used the Kore2 VST on most of my FL projects so I have to get it to work somehow on the latest MacOS Sequoia (M4). I tried to follow the steps but when I get to the last point I open the iso file click next and it's instantly give me an installation fails message. I tried multiple times but i can't install it, maybe the ISO file wrong i'm not sure. Could you help me? Is there a copy paste method to install the Kore 2 VST?

Kore 2 support ended in like, 10+ years ago? The guide from aMUSED is also 3 years old, maybe not even for Apple Silicon. You are most certainly out of luck here, I'm afraid.
Mac Mini M4 Pro | 14 Cores (10P/4E) | 48GB RAM | Studio One | Reason | Bitwig Studio | Logic Pro | FL Studio | Cubase Pro | Waveform | Reaper | Renoise | ~1000 VSTs/AUs | ~350 REs

Kore 2 installer was written in a way that OSX took the number 10 as the number 1, so once OS 10.10 came around there was a problem. So a plist in the installer had to be edited. I did this through High Sierra in 2019, about 8 yrs after End of Life for Kore (definitely 2011). I wasn't able to in 2020, because Service Center had been replaced by Native Access, and I got tired of workarounds, not sure there was one or not. The info is surely out there, but I'd reckon chances it's going to work in 2025 on MacOS (if it's Apple Silicon hardware I'm reasonably sure it won't) are slim to none.

HOWEVER I installed Absynth 5 on Friday under OS 15.1.1 (just now updated to 15.3, no change) on an M2 machine, and it works great. The OS prompted me to install Rosetta 2. Also saw "Massive" in the thread, works Native Silicon. With the biggest GUI for a plugin I have ever seen.

Oddly though a Kore 2 database folder appears in Application Support from instaling Absynth and/or Massive, OS notwithstanding.

I'm surprised Kore 2 works on Win 11. I couldn't run Kore 2 on earlier versions of MacOS even with the full install latest version of Kore 2 since a long time ago but I would love to use my Native Instruments registered Kore packs on Kore Player. Can someone help me and link me to the Windows Kore 2 player full download page?

It definitely runs fine. I don't have Kore anymore but I have had major issues activating NI software from the same time frame.

Same here ever since they upgraded from the original Mac Service Center. The service center software I thought couldn't recognize Kore 2 anymore but I'll try on PC because they said Kore 2 is functional still. My PC is ordered I just have to wait for it going from Mac to PC.

Jan 2026 - up and running in M1 Mac Pro with Kore 2 and sound packs having recently just got an M Mac.
It was not easy and I did it by having a previous full install on Sequoia on Intel Mac and I'm still getting Kore 2 in demo mode intermittently but it's all working and sounding fine.

I am using NA version 1 to authorize by the way, which it does and it appears (see attached) but I am having a problem with the 'Relocate' issue. This does not stop it running but it does stop it from going into demo mode. I'll report back if I find the solution.
EDIT: today demo mode is gone! No idea why. So yes fully up and running Kore 2 on M1 Pro Macbook in January 2026 on the day Native Instrument's insolvency is announced :) They should have stuck with Kore.

Edit: so I am indeed also hampered only by the lack of Service Center...everything else works. Damn that's annoying. Anyone know of a workaround?
Otherwise luckily Kore has a generous 30 minute fully functional demo mode..not ideal but do-able.
