I don't want to defend Digital River but that guy is pushing his luck isn't he? He started a class action against Digital River because DR sent him an invoice between the hours of 9pm and 8am. It seems that in Florida it's illegal to ask a customer for payment between the hours of 9pm and 8am. I think the law means you can't phone or stand on somebody's door step demanding payment after 9pm - but sending an automatic email after 9pm?

Would be interesting to know what the court decided.

Seems that case in 2023 against DR was dismissed. I bet those lawyers laughed all the way to the bank at the plaintiff's expense. So I'd suggest NOT using that law firm if they advised that poor sap to proceed on a case like that.

It looks like they are cheating again. They also didn't send us an email with the bankruptcy announcement.

I don't know how long it takes until the insolvency should show up in the German insolvency register.
I searched there a couple of times and have not found an entry yet.
