$49 is a low price, but I prefer to buy another Doepfer one for the stereo effect.

The one that might get me, is Sword (Blade) for $79. That’s insanely low.

Still, I don’t need it and would need another case, which is something I don’t want to think about.

One good thing about the Behringer modules is you can fit them in any depth of rack. Some modules are a nightmare in that regard.

Are you safe?

Yes, I'd rather stick with and support Doepfer on this one as well, yet I do very much prefer the size, layout/aesthetics of the Sword compared to Blades. :tu:
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

I feel like I should get an MPE controller that is not too big. Erea touch II seems a little too big for in front of the monitor.

Got a UAD Volt 1 USB audio interface -- feels sturdy, looks good, and sounds good, plus it has an on/off switch.

I also spent about $30 on a "RIOWOIS" soundbar because the speakers in my display had started to sound rumbly (for everyday use I don't always want to turn on the Volt plus my two powered speakers).

It's literally the exact same size and layout. B even copied the slightly stylized Sanskrit numeral style that Mutable uses, just to be trolls I expect. They just put the labels above the knobs instead of below and went with a sort of Darth Vader aesthetic with extra graphic details that I personally don't care for.

I dislike Behringer as a general rule, but I do have to admit their price on this is insanely low. I'm glad to have paid Émilie $350 rather than Uli $80, but since the only competition is other clones now, it's a moot point. I do not have any feelings about supporting ALA.

(After getting one MI module in a charity auction and beta testing 5 others, it didn't hurt me to actually buy one the normal way on occasion.)

Well, all I have so far is a power supply. All the other stuff is out of stock till whenever. Thought I better get one of these before they sell out.

And delivered.

This is scary… ordered, picked up by uber and then delivered within an hour.

Probably a good thing I don’t have another case right now

Oh no, misunderstanding

Edit: just watched the video. Beyond me, both mentally and financially.

I was kind of thinking "this is extremely cool but do I really need it?" a few minutes after the Make Noise video. And then I watched Sarah Belle Reid's video, where she uses it for audio stuff, as well as some extremely excellent examples of using it on manually played parts and joystick stuff... and the answer is yes.

I decided it'll replace my seldom-used Xaoc Koszalin.
