Instrument-Specific Melody Creation with RapidComposer

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using RapidComposer and am really enjoying the workflow and features. I have a question regarding its capabilities. Is it possible to create instrument-specific compositions, such as generating melodies tailored to specific instruments, within RapidComposer?

I ask this because RapidComposer introduced guitar support in V5, including customization of fingerings, which I find to be a great addition.

I'd love to hear about any tips or experiences you have with this, especially if you've managed to create customized melodies for different instruments.

Yes, RapidComposer does allow you to create instrument-specific compositions. With the addition of guitar support in V5, you can customize fingerings and adjust melodies according to the constraints of the instrument. For other instruments, you can also configure scales and articulations for more realistic rendering.
If you're looking to generate melodies tailored to specific instruments, I suggest you explore the “Rules” and “Phrases” options to fine-tune the style to suit the instrument.
Did you have a particular instrument in mind, apart from guitar?

Geige: Violin
Cello: Cello
Harfe: Harp
Blechbläser (Trompete, Posaune, Tuba, Horn): Brass Instruments (Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Horn)
Saxophon: Saxophone
Holzbläser (Oboe, Klarinette, Fagott): Woodwind Instruments (Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon)
Querflöte: Flute
Blockflöte: Recorder (is it really Recorder - as I translated from German, or is it Tin Whistle?)
Panflöte: Pan Flute
