CLAP is good, ethos is cool but when it comes to the features they advert as groundbreaking you'll find that it's mostly for super duper geeks who want to modulate subatoms in music "per voice".
And then you'll realize when it comes to FX features (over VST3) are even less and less prominent and then finally you will realize that people made genre-defining tracks with 2 decades older formats.
However, CLAP is a good progress and should be adopted just for the sake of "openness" which should be the main point. All other so-called features are moot.
TLDR - A larch.
