A lot has changed over the years with Studio One, so I think a lot of people need a bit of a refresher course including me on the details in how to do certain things they have heard about but are unsure in just how to do or activate.
The idea of this thread is to post a question and to have someone answer that question.

How do you activate retrospective recording mode?

you press the little circle arrow in the inspector in the top menu. you may need to scroll down in the menu. or bind it to a keyboard shortcut.
