Well, its a buffer effect, the forever setting, assumingly, freezes the buffer until something happens to overwrite it. It seems quite easy to overwrite it with nothing via mod/automation/triggering or whatever. Are you certain that is not what's happening?

Another thing is that host stop setting is saved in the presets, so if you load one, it's likely
to be turned off by that.

Huh. Well I tried reinstalling the plugin and now it *does* work when switching to Forever mode. Confused on the why but I'll take it! Thanks again for the help and explanation.
