1. Knif Soma EQ
2. Elysia Alpha Compressor
3. Vertigo VSM-3

These are the ones that are purely available through Plugin-Alliance that I use most often.

LTL Silver Bullet would be top but you can get it directly from LTL so I don't consider it a PA only plugin.

Same goes for TBTech plugins as you can get them separately. Otherwise I would have had to mention Kirchoff EQ and Cenozoix in that list.

For sure. Once I've put this on my bass channel, there is very little chance it will be replaced with something else.
So that, and Metric AB for me.
And yeah, that's only two, but Vertigo needs two slots. :hihi:

I picked up a fair number of PA plugins over time.
The top 3 I actually use:
~ Brainworx Gallien-Krueger 800RB bass amp - I grew up with these amps in the '80s, love the gritty warmth!
~ Vertigo VSM-3 - Does useful M/S tricks and saturation
- Unfiltered Audio Byome - Really versatile modular FX

The free filter with the HP/LP joystick is great!
I never bought it, but I preferred the Townhouse to any other SSL-style compressor at "release time".

It is a PA plugin - if you buy it direct (like I did), you just get an activation code that you need to go to the PA site to redeem to your PA account, just the same as if you bought a PA plugin from other non-PA retailers like Plugin Boutique.

And LTL are limited by PA's update verification process to issue updates which seems to take forever too...

I always use two types of PA plugins in almost all of my projects and on many tracks/groups - a saturation plugin (Silver Bullet is on top currently, HG2 and Big Al I used a lot before it) and a channel strip (AMEK 200 currently, bx_consoles before that).
For the third slot you can take one of the Neold plugins, all of them are high quality tools, but also very special.

Byome looks interesting and it's a great price, but I always look and think I could do that with Stutter Edit, so DO I NEED IT?

I have both (well, TRIAD, which is the multiband BYOME), and they have very different workflows and do very different things imo.

BYOME/TRIAD is a full set of effects (there are a ton, and they use the algorithms and features from other Unfiltered Audio) that encourage experimentation with it's modular-esque workflow. Stutter Edit is great for rhythmic sequences and live edits. I love the workflow of the former and don't gel with the latter as much, but I think there isn't a ton of crossover- at least not how I use them.

But you can demo PA plugins, so it's worth giving it a shot at least imo. Also, PA plugins go on sale ALL THE TIME, so if you miss out on a good price, you'll see it again very soon.

Thinking about this I've realised that I have a lot of PA plugins, but rarely use them. The ones that get most use are probably DS Thorn, Black Box HG-2, and AMEK EQ200.

For me from PA:

ThreeBodyTech (everything)
Unfiltered Audio ( mostly: SpecOps and Zip)
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

I have quite a lot of their plugins from the past,
don’t really use them much. I am weary of all the PA shenanigans from the last few years. So,
my interest has waned for the most part.
