I wouldn't be too worried just because that link disappeared.
Soundlabs.ai seems to be very alive and that MicDrop thingy apparently is quite a big deal for some. Most likely they are busy with MicDrop and other things. Personally I'd even prefer Hetrick/Dickinson working to improve Battalion in the first place
But of course I wouldn't mind indications that the BreakTweaker 2 project is still alive, too.

Breaktweaker always seemed to use far more CPU than one would expect to be necessary. I also had a couple random crashes playing around with the included library and some other random breakbeats. Most simple buffer manipulation devices (especially ones that are only manipulating data from files on your drive and not a real-time buffer) take almost zero CPU. That being said, I got breaktweaker for the equivalent of like 5 bucks maybe, and the 2 or 3 times I used it on a finished song made it worth far more than that. If it's anything as good as the move from stutter edit 1 to stutter edit 2 then I'm going to be very interested.

Sad, it's a waste of their talent but you can't blame them for wanting to get paid.
