It's a decent synth, but for the price you can get Halion, UVI Falcon or MSoundFactory (if you factor in sales).
I'm not saying, GHOST isn't worth the $200, but I doubt it will become very popular at that price (and there haven't been any sales so far).

I don't see much value here, either. I remember when the developer first beta-tested, someone pointed out that the competition included f'em, which offers more operators, multiple layers, and other features that make it stiff competition. And when f'em goes on sale, frequently, for half price at about $90 US, it's a killer. Meanwhile, if you buy Halion, it comes with its own great FM component--along with everything else that very deep synth/sampler/wavetable plug-in has to offer. Ghost, at $199, even with an appealing gui, must be a ghost by now.

Not on its best day. If it were $99 with a BF price of $49, I'd still be hard pressed considering what else is available.

Yeah well, that's some of you. Casual armchair KVR product experts with zero hours of running a business or making a product. He can make it $400 and objectively he will be still correct to value his work as much as he wants to regardless of the current trend. You don't have to pay for it of course and saying it's overpriced is also normal.

I am not objecting to price comments. I don't love how some of you are putting his work down by insinuating it's not worth even $49. That shows how despicable some of you are haha. It's fine. Better to send your money to Netflix so they can fund the next shiteist content doing some shady political activism ha ha ha gimme a break.

You guys always find a way to make my third corn laugh :hihi: :o :hihi:

Price, as they say, is whatever the market will bear. So here are a few commenters suggesting the market won't bear this price. That may be useful information for the producer of Ghost. Boo!

I agree with this. Not that it’s not good or the developer does not deserve more money. The market is saturated and also you would think 3x what you spend $200 on. At 100 I would seriously consider it, at 50 I would pick it up just so I can say I own it.

This is what I meant. I would never mean to offend the dev or the work put into something. This is about a market that is already oversaturated with high quality versions of this at a fraction of the price.
