Plugins that require local deactivation to free up activation slots

I'm migrating machines and I have far too many plugins, a scenario I'm sure most here are familiar with. I'm going to sell the machine I'm currently using.

So far I've deactivated all iLok licenses and Waves, but I'm not sure if I have any other brands which require local access to revoke an activation.
By memory almost all developers have website management tools for this purpose, as you would expect, but I can't keep track of this many.

In the IK Product Manager it appears that deactivation is done locally, and I don't see the option on the website. This is all a large pita.

I don't appear to have a limit to activations with NI? Same with Tracktion.

Also, I hope it's true that Plugin Alliance will allow a reset of the allowed number of deactivations? I might be hitting the limit with a few plugins.

Aha, thanks for that. In my case I'm using Mac OS, and opted for Migration Assistant (again), which in some cases seems to transpose licences without any problem. I don't think it's caused any issues... some plugins need reactivation and some also need reinstallation.

Your thread worried me for a moment regarding Fabfilter, as I didn't deauthorise them on the old machine, but it doesn't appear to be a problem according to their website:

"You may install your purchased FabFilter plug-ins on multiple computers, as long as you are the only person to use those installed copies. You can just enter your own personal license key multiple times.

If you need to temporarily install your FabFilter plug-ins in a studio for e.g. a mixing session, you can use your personal license key as well. In this case, be sure to use the Help > Deauthorize command in the plug-in interface after the session to remove your license key again to ensure no one else will be using it."
