I love the sound of super natural/pure sounding drums like in these songs:
Mojave 3 - My Life In Art:
Red House Painters - Grace Cathedral Park:
Pinback - Tripoli: (probably my favorite, but possibly a drum machine -- if so, which drum machine? ;D)

Samples you are looking for are natural sounds of drums played quietly. It seems they are played live (no drum machines).
Try any natural drum library in .sfz or Decent Sampler formats, choose samples with lower velocities and just drag and drop them in Geist. But it depends on the library you are using. May be higher velocities will be more appropriate.
Look at these libraries: sfzinstruments.
And that: Virtuosity Drums
Search here: Pianobook.
Also look at DrumGizmo kits, they are in .wav files too.
Kontakt drum libraries are also good if their files aren't encrypted (clean .wav files).
May be, you will like drums played with bruches. But they sound differently.

You might like my acoustic kits. They are provided as Drum Racks for Live, but include all the samples as WAV files recorded at different velocities. There are Premier Resonator and Premier Soundwave kits, as well as a Yamaha 9000. The kits also include velocity layered snare drums, hi-hats, ride & crash cymbals. Follow the Drum Racks link in my signature ...

If you want detailed and natural, https://naturaldrum.com/ is pretty good - 18470 samples across eight cymbals, two hi-hats, three kicks (in multiple tunings), cowbell & tambourine, three snares (in multiple tunings, with snares on and off) and five toms (in multiple tunings) with 18.4GB WAV samples.

take a look (listen) to some "jazz" drums, and maybe even some jazz brushed | brush drums. or slow jazz drums.
some of those are very similar. i like that kind of drumming too. also, check into some youtube videos on how to tune drums.
sometimes they give away some nice secrets of how to get better drum sounds.
i sure wish more drummers would pay attention to snare drum bottoms (where the SNARES ARE!!!) instead of making snares sound like toms.
but some of the videos on how to make "dead snare sounds" or 60s or 70s drum sounds are useful.
