Nope, it literally does not change the value. It blocks it, practically. Funny why it wouldn't work here? Especially because without shift it works just fine. If it didn't work at all, this would've been more comforting.

Must amend my last response to this ... real bad brain fog!.
On Windows 10, Reaper, latest nightly, shift-mousewheel does NOT show or change values.
Without shift, the knobs MOVE, but do NOT display the values.
Sorry for any confusion from my comment a little way back.

OK - well i found out that when taron said mouse he meant mouse not trackpad. and on mac i figured out what was happening.
question - on windows do you have a unidirectional scroll wheel or a multi-directional scroll wheel?
but i'll test it when i next boot windows.

Here's my entry:
https://soundcloud.com/aliv_music/the-j ... he-process
Made in Reaper with 39 instances of Six Sines. A couple of them are the Seven-Outs version, all the rest are the regular one. Plugins used are:
Reverb
6x Valhalla Supermassive
4x Klanghelm TENSjr
Saturation/Compression (used subtly as per the rules)
1x ReaComp
12x Klanghelm IVGI2
2x JS: Wild Wave Fu
1x JS: Transpire
2x Auburn Sounds Lens (freeware features only)
10x TDR Molotok (mostly as sidechain duckers)
1x TDR Kotelnikov (on the master)
1x Thomas Mundt LoudMax (same)
Other
3x Melda MTremolo
37x ReaEQ
1 whole bunch of JS: MIDI plugs (note filters and such)
6x JS: Mid/Side Encode/Decode pairs
1x JS: Time Adjustment Delay
Some Volume utility JS
1x Lattices (Surge Synth Team MTS-ESP source plugin, free and open source)
This really has been *extra* fun to make.
Hope you like it!

Just go for CTRL (META) instead of SHIFT. It's quite commonly used to switch to fine-tuning. Vital is probably the most popular example. It also causes no troubles on any OS.

Yup, that sounds like trouble!
Then it's definitely worth it to figure out what the issue is, since it's trouble for both Windows and Mac. All can be solved at the end. Weird nonsense sometimes.

Windows primary problem is I have to boot into windows. And that always makes me grumpy and sad. Chuckle
Holy heck... I've become one of those, too. Never thought this might happen.

Here's my entry for the month in case I don't have time to get back to it. Probably not as carefully worked as some months. Mainly for a laugh.
