The guitar amps from BX make good use of the UAD hardware, but otherwise, it's cheap to get the native versions of the BX plugins direct from PA.
Can't tell, I only use fx plugins made by UA themselves,

the best part for me are comp, specific eq (like pultec or manley), delay, reverb, saturation and tape sim.
Win 11, UAD Octo satellite usb, Yamaha AG06 mk2, IK multimedia iLoud MTM x2, Ableton Live 12, Push 2, Reason 12, NI Komplete.

I'd say add the AMS plugins, and the C-Suite plugins. Those are UAD Exclusive, and super good, even though 3rd-party.

I already own the ultimate bundle and it covers more than all my needs.

Man, now that the SSLs were ported, I cannot wait for the AMS to go native too hah.

Probably not going to happen, as the AMS plugins are not developed by UA - so far, only UA plugins have gone native, none of the "partner" plugins have had native UA ports (of course, some of them are already available natively elsewhere). So UA only seem to be moving their own plugins - and they don't even plan to do all of them - to UADx.

I thought UA did the AMS plugins. They're not Softube. They're not Brainworx. They look like UA made plugins to me.

I suspect the issue is that AMS/Neve, for whatever reason, are just not allowing for native ports to be sold. If they suddenly start releasing their own plugins in the future, I'd understand. But as of now, it just seems more like it's about wanting to be compensated more for branding and likely some kind of contract standoff.

Pure speculation of course.

That was my theory with the SSL plugs too but those came out eventually so we can hope at least!

They are classed as partner plugins, their development was shared between AMS and UA, but it means UA don't own the plugin IP, unlike their own plugins. It also means decisions about how to use that IP must be made in agreement with AMS/Neve, with some kind of corresponding commercial arrangement (presumably).

This is also probably true, as there is already a somewhat weird arrangement with the native Neve plugins, which *were* developed by UA. They aren't doing native versions of those either, with one exception of the native Neve they already did (the 1073) that's available in Spark, but *not* available for purchase purely natively, even though the native UADx version exists - you can only get it if you buy the DSP version* (which you need UA hardware for). So again here, it looks like whatever arrangement they have with AMS/Neve restricts pure native sales even for a plugin that wasn't developed by them, *and* already exists. And the restrictions on this one will surely prevent UA from investing in any more porting resources if those native ports cannot be sold to people without DSP cards.

The reasons for this we can only speculate, but it's presumably "business reasons" of some kind. Neve might have sold exclusive licensing rights for native plugins to some other company, for instance, or it might simply be a licensing fee renegotiation that UA don't want to pay for.

Like I say, unless this commercial arrangement changes, don't expect native versions of the AMS or Neve plugins anytime soon (I would have liked the 33609 natively too, as well as the AMS stuff...)

* Even the Neve plugins are restricted from UA's main all plugins bundle, so UA had to make a special second UA all bundle + Neve plugins, for more money, to satisfy Neve's licensing requirements presumably. Possibly there's some minimum price per license fee that Neve require that wouldn't be met by selling them natively...

The lesson here is: never license. The "Never 1073" and "ASMR RMX-16" would've been good enough. :P
