I'm using a sentence and want to trigger the individual words by notes.
I connected the "Note in Octave" to the "Osc Wave Frame"

With my settings C triggers the first word, E the second, A the third and B the fourth word.
And I want to trigger the first word with C the second with D and so on.
Is this even possible?
and
(How) can I set individually envelope length (per word)?

Yeah, it doesnt work like that. Vital does not know whats in the wavetable, its not AI. It sees a wavetable as a series of data. I guess you can use keytracking to have an envelope play different sections of the wave that you manually and carefully set up maybe?

I'd second hat Adam is saying.
Without testing anything, I don't think it's possible to set it up like that. Of course I got no clue about the context, but I would probably try to split this into four instances of Vital.
Or bounce the audio, then use a sampler, stuff like that. Not sure why/if you have to pack that into one Vital instance (and what you're trying to achieve wouldn't work anyway).

i didn't know you could do that in Vital
have you tried Plogue Chipspeech?
type the words in then play the words on your keyboard, it's great

You can turn an LFO into a remapper. Set the LFO to "Tempo" mode and the speed to "Freeze". Then use the "Oct Note" Modulator to modulate the phase/position (the slider at the bottom) of the LFO.

Then use the LFO to modulate the wave table position. Now, you can change the shape of the LFO so that each note triggers the correct position.

You could use another LFO as a remapper and set the Hold parameter of an envelope to the length you want.

Or, if you mean how far the envelope travels through the wavetable, you could also use it to adjust the modulation mount the envelope applies to the wave table position. You can modulate the modulation amount by dragging a modulation source on the circle of the other modulation.

Hey all, thanks for answering.

I'm using the suggestions from Held, and I'm coming closer, but I'm still not there.
But I'm pretty happy with the result.

Next I will try the idea from adamszabo with the keytracking envelope.
