How will you afford eggs? Someone left my cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it. Cause it took so long to bake it. And, I;ll never have that recipe again. Oh no.

Good question, I asked ChatGPT that very question and it returned these lyrics:
Egg prices can fluctuate, but there are ways to make them more affordable:
1. Buy in Bulk – Larger packs (like 18 or 24-count) often have a lower per-egg cost.
2. Check Discount Stores – Stores like Aldi, Walmart, or local dollar stores may have cheaper options.
3. Shop at Local Farms – Sometimes, local farmers sell eggs for less than grocery stores.
4. Use Coupons & Apps – Apps like Ibotta, Fetch, or store-specific apps often have discounts.
5. Compare Prices at Different Stores – Prices vary, so checking multiple stores can help.
6. Buy Store Brands – Generic or store-brand eggs are often cheaper than name brands.
7. Consider Egg Alternatives – If you’re using eggs for baking, applesauce, flaxseed, or other substitutes might work in a pinch.
Are you looking for the absolute cheapest place to buy them near you? I can check!

Buy in bulk. Because eggs never go bad.
Check discount stores - I got news for AI. Walmart is pretty much the only game in town for me as far as groceries.
Generic eggs? Please watch the documentary Food, Inc. and get back to me on that.
In other weird news recently people have been caught trying to smuggle eggs from Mexico. Eggs. KMN.

Mmhm? Haja cryophonik, well told!
(1) there is simply no substitute
to raising one's own chickens or buying from a local
farmer. This is not subjective!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
With factory farming, the genie has now been let out
of the bottle. And no one can put that genie back!
That may not matter much to many people in the field
of egg production, because a lot of eggs are produced
in a factory-like manner, like on an assembly line. And
these eggs are "tasteless," "interchangeable," and without
"character" anyway. You can eat them—you can cook with
them—and that's the whole point.
And factory farming just makes this pile of eggs, which
actually has no relevance, even bigger.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a different opinion.
There are many dedicated farmers who have something
to offer, who raise their chickens with care and attention.
And who translate this into eggs with a lot of flavor—with
a lot of work, sweat, and feeling. And who create something
unique: a product that is unique, that they personally
nurtured—with their own work, sweat, and feeling. They
tended to every single chicken, they made thousands of
decisions so that these eggs finally taste the way they do.
They pondered it, spent nights thinking about feed, coop
conditions, and health...
If you go to the local farmer's market, you will even find
some of these rare gems, these very personal and very
unique products.
For me, tasting an egg like this is a peak of personal
expression, the culmination of craftsmanship, yes,
that is actually what "being human" means.
On the other hand, anyone who uses factory farming as a
production tool is completely removing themselves from
this process—and is simply adding a carton of eggs to the pile
that already exists. Some farmers have now opted for the
latter—and that is their right.

How come eggs have become so expensive in the US?
I mean, these are harvested from enslaved chicken that eat leftover food and get nothing in compensation.

It's only been recently released on the Switch, so I've yet to actually play it - not owned a gaming PC for years or Xbox / PS ever. So I'm happy in my ignorance!!

I'm still perplexed with American measures - a cup of onion? What diced, sliced, blended, whole???
Baking measurements are usually pretty precise so I find this type of stuff odd
