I'm working with a vocal track where certain words at the end of each line need to have a little delay on them. I'm using PSP's Lexicon delay plug-in as a send to do this and it's working out nicely.

However, I have no idea how to pan the delays themselves. Let's say I want the first delayed word to be panned to the right speaker and the next delayed word at the end of the next line panned to the left. How is this accomplished? I assume automation may be part of the process, and some use of the buses. Can the delays themselves be bounced to another track which can pan via automation?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

You can automate the panning of an FX channel track.

Those who can do maths and those who can't.

There are many different ways to do that. I don't use that certain plugin but you should try to find out if it is capable of panning delays. Another way is to add an autopanning (insert) effect to the Lexicon effect track itself. You could also use two instances of the Lexicon plugin with different time settings and different panning settings.
