Infiltrator is my top choice for its kind of thing, but there's also ShaperBox, and sort of DS Tantra.

I've been looking at the multi-fx/multi-env/lfo things recently and came across
Infiltrator
DS Tantra
Shaperbox
(as previously mentioned) and
Filterverse (but a bit more than just envelopes/LFOs)
and a new one released today called Apotheca https://gooeyaudio.com which I'm trying to get working at the moment. (AU didn't install, but I'm sure it will be fine eventually)

Glitch 2, effectrix 2, there's definitely a bunch of reaktor FX ensembles with sequenced sfx, then there are a whole pile of them where the FX are sequenced and triggered via midi. You can also slap together very similar things in snap shop or something like vcv rack.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Shaperbox is probably the most similar, though I use the two for different things.
Infiltrator IMO is best when using the presets for randomizing sounds and creating "mudpies" and variations of clips to be used throughout a song. It's the ultimate creative randomizer.
Shaperbox IMO is a better tool for the more blocking and tackling type work of ducking, auto panning, pumping reverbs, etc. It's easier to configure than Infiltrator, which makes it better for these tasks where you're trying to do something specific. The reverbs in Shaperbox are REALLY good too, even as standalone reverbs. The compressor is pretty decent as well. It also comes with endless presets for randomizing audio.
There's a lot of overlap, but if I had to choose one, it would be Shaperbox, just because it's easier to configure when you're trying to achieve a specific result. In fact, if I could only have 1 FX VST, it would be Shaperbox because it does so many things well. That's not a knock on Infiltrator at all, which is a totally awesome and powerful tool.

I don’t get on with Infiltrator 2. To me (and maybe I am using it wrongly) infiltrator 2 sounds like the preset with the source behind. It is like the mix nob turns up the preset and turns down the source. For me It is generally the same with any sound source if you use the same preset. Shaperbox sounds like the source is enveloped within the sound. YMMV

Multi-effects and sequenced effects are easily some of my favorite types of plug-ins. For the price, Infiltrator 2 has some amazing effects and a layout that is hard to match, in my opinion. But if I had to choose an alternative, it would certainly be Boom Library’s Enrage as M1st suggested.
Admittedly, it was a very expensive purchase for me. But it’s the kind of deep plug-in that continues to provide excellent results the more I dig into it. It comes with over 50 effects modules to create simple or complex effects chains with. And the sound quality and stability has definitely been top-notch! Just be aware that it requires authorization through iLok, in case that matters to you.
Another suggestion would include Synestia by Rhizomatic. I love this effect and it’s strong focus on physical-modeling resonators. Although it only comes with 8 effects, the extensive modulation system is a dream to work with, and the sound design capabilities easily make up for the lack of individual effects to choose from. It’s a lot fun to use and highly-recommended!!
For other sequenced and multi-effects, I would look at the multiple offerings from Sugar Bytes such as Looperator, Effectrix 2, and Turnado. There’s also Sequent by Loomer, DS Audio’s Tantra 2, Kilohearts Multipass & Snap Heap, and the modular effect powerhouses by Melda Production called MXXX & MXXX Core. There’s more out there. It’s just a matter of picking one that resonates with you and your workflow.

I love these plugins and have a few, including Infiltrator2.
Tantra- similar multi FX with buffer wizardry. Sounds awesome but ime very hard to tame, partcoualr the buffer/glitch stuff. I use presets only with this.
Shaperbox- my most used. Typically just doing cool transitions and still find the Time Shaper somewhat hard to control, but for ducked reverbs, side chaining, adding character to percussion, and of course doing super epic build ups, this one is brilliant.
Transit 1/2- again, very easy to use, everything can be tied to one main macro and you can seriously demolish sounds that way. The FX aren't great in and of themselves, unlike Shaperbox, but serviceable and the sum is greater than the whole here. That said, I don't use either very much. It can be fiddly to fine tune. Transit 2 added beat repeat stuff. I really should spend more time with it.
Byome- Multifx from Unfiltered Audio. Haven't used much yet, don't like the GUI and the patch cables are just silly. But it's cheap and UA stuff is normally worth the asking price. Combine with Specops to get some of the spectral warping found in Infiltrator. Again, confusing layout and very easy to just render out smeary noise, but unrivalled for making mudpiez.
Arturia Motions- much simpler than most but still has all the features one needs to make the sound of robots dying. I mainly use this for the beat repeat side of things- it's very easy to program. Alongside Shaperbox, this is a goto.
Ni Molekular- another older gem. The individual components are probably the best sounding of all the multifx I use. Some of the spectral stuff is just super unique and interesting but it is difficult to get comfortable in, requires Reaktor and is resource hungry. I need to spend more time in this. Or just keep using any of the many other tools I've got.
Honourable mentions to stuff like Snapheap and Multipass. You need to spend longer with these products ad they are of course merely containers for snapins, but it is really satisfying to imagine a cool effect and get down to building it. I don't use Multipass often but it's there.
Stutter Edit is another possibility- I never enjoyed using it but flicking presets demonstrates its power. I think the others I've mentioned are better options cos they're much easier to learn.

HY-Filter4 https://hy-plugins.com/product/hy-filter4/ is worth checking out too. It's pretty versatile and deep once you start exploring it and sounds good to me.

As I am not that deep into doing everything on my own and being more a preset whore/tweaker my absolute and unmatched favourite is DS Tantra 2...
I absolutely love the presets in there to turn any source into something complete different and it sounds absolutely great.
I do own the complete Shaperbox bundle too but preset wise Tantra wipes the floor with it.

I feel like they're different enough as to serve quite different purposes. Shaperbox can be awesome for evolving creative fx, but also as a general mixing aid- ducking/sidechaining, Phase alignment, multiband compression/saturation. Its what i generally use it for. Tantra is doing the complete sound mangling stuff much better, but isn't as useful for general duties. And honestly, the interface is pretty terrible. Dialling in a basic best repeat/glitch often takes me so long that I just abandon whatever my goal is and hit randomise. If Tantra2 had envelopes/LFOs like Shaperbox, damn that would be amazing.Trancit wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:34 am As I am not that deep into doing everything on my own and being more a preset whore/tweaker my absolute and unmatched favourite is DS Tantra 2...
