FL STUDIO mac playlist paintbrush missing?

Where are on earth is the paintbrush for the playlist. It's missing in the mac and it's driving me insane. What am i missing?

nevermind, i had to expand the playlist window even though it literally is taking up the whole screen - how hilariously bad designed that is

In your screenshot, the entire left edge of the playlist was moved outside of the viewport (note the half-visible audio clip). So it looks more like you needed to shrink it, or just drag it to the right.

I'll look into it again but essentially it was covering up the entire window, when I click the square icon it did not increase the size it only unhide the paintbrush, lol
