edit: I got it now, can't believe he didnt put the samples in the sems folder(one folder up)so its portable, now i have some weird folder in c:/program files

I have to tell you most of my Angular Momentum UIs would not show up. On Win 11 here and I think it's because of SM GUI stuff. They would play. But some no UI, Some would be fine. Disappointed because all his stuff was great.

one nice VSTi for crunchy or sweetly/mildly distorted sounds is Rogue:

it's really old, but I still have it running on Reaper in Linux (via Yabridge)

Best to reformat OUT of windows 11... I would rather use windows 98 SE if I had only two choices, but I don't as XP fills all the cracks...

Recent playing with Sonigen Modular found that a DBL-RtClick on a knob (or other) brings up choice to map to either MIDI CC OR VST Param... Wish everyone did that...

I have a perpetual thread where I note any 32bit VSTi that have Pitch Bend or Pitch & Mod Wheels in the VST Parameters which is rare... This good for old trackers or sequencers that have weak MIDI but access to VST Params-

Found this plugin called Grainz by SKNote, however I have never been able it make it work (FL Studio 21 gives the "error" status and the plugin does not load. The instructions say to install the plugins, create a folder in the same location as the plugin called "wavs" then move the support files to the system32 directory. Does anyone here have a possible solution? I have tried installing different Visual C++ redistribulatbles, manually setting the plugin type in the plugin manager, and making sure everything is running as admin and is not set to read-only.

(Here is the manual, which has links for all of the files, and can be put into wayback machine to download)
