Plugin boutique is selling it as well if you're still having issues on korg's site.

While Roland is just a shell of it's former self, nice to see Korg regularly knocking it out of the park.

ah i thaught it was windows only, nice to know that mac has the same problem on ableton with vst3twolegstoneworks wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:02 pm Demo runs fine on my Mac M3, but in Ableton Live 12 it lags a lot when browsing presets. It takes 3-4 seconds for each preset to load. If I open the plugin in Bitwig 5, the loading of presets is instant. Strange.

ableton is facing since vst3 this issue. My first plugins have been vengeance avenger and parawave rapid. I opened a ticket 3 years ago, they told me to fix it, but nothing happened.tumface wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:28 pm The slow preset change when there are a lot of parameters thing is a flaw in Ableton, not the plugin. Plugins have to add workarounds to deal with it in Ableton. I don't blame a plugin maker if they don't do it.
In the meantime, lot of developers fixed it for their plugins like parawave rapid and minimal audio current. Korg is also aware since the release of Opsix and wavestate, but they don't do anything.
Good for me, so i don't have to buy, so much plugins.

Live definitely has issues in their VST3 implementation. This problem doesn't happen in other hosts.

Stuck notes galore in the demo when browsing their presets. Annoying. At least they gave a Panic function, but it's in a menu not available in the preset browser.
And the demo session expired while I was using the preset browser, stuck a note, and froze up my DAW (Studio One) so I had to force close it.
I think they have some issues still.

So are you saying that using the synth at 48kHz, the layer will oversample 2x, and using it at 96kHz, it will not oversample, correct (at standard setting)?EvilDragon wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:39 pm It runs at 96k at Standard setting and 192k at Extreme setting. And this is adjusted separately per layer A/B/C/D.
Btw. any idea how to use set lists in the VST3? The set list editor seems to be buggy, opens a full screen which cannot be closed, and then the whole plugin window cannot be closed anymore.
Another question, any idea if it is planned to make the plugin 100% remote controlled by the hardware, e.g. moving filter controls affects the plugin, switching set list preset also switches the plugin, etc?
What for is the CMT ID, does it have to be the same on the hardware and the plugin? It is kind of a "unique analogizer id", correct? So if set the same, it will exactly drift the same? Will/can it be saved along with the preset then?
Is the CMT ID per plugin instance? Will it be saved with the song data?
If you import presets, mark them as favorite and later reimport these, will the favorite-marks be remembered?
Finally, is a preset sync with the hardware planned?

1.0.2 actually
CHANGELOG native 1.0.2 - https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... ease-notes
CHANGELOG hardware 1.0.4 - https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... ease-notes
CHANGELOG native 1.0.2 - https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... ease-notes
- Added more right-click targets for copy/paste, including the Sequencer title in the menu bar and the Kaoss Physics and Arpeggiator section titles on their edit page.
- "Enter chord from MIDI" now turns off automatically when Chord is turned off.
- Previously, Oscillator 4's wavetable mesh was drawn incorrectly when X-Mod was enabled in Double mode. This has now been fixed.
- The Sync To Host button now clearly displays the on/off state.
- Previously, when Sync To Host was enabled on, changing Performances could re-enable local tempo. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, closing the UI while playing notes could cause a crash. This has now been fixed.
- Made minor cosmetic improvements.
CHANGELOG hardware 1.0.4 - https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... ease-notes
- Previously, the Filter Bass Full/Tight parameter for 2-Pole, 4-Pole, and Multi-Filter types always behaved as if it was set to Full. This has now been fixed.
- When loading a Performance or Program, if a wavetable oscillator has no wavetable selected, it is set to Basic 1.
- Previously, modulation of Pitch Env Velocity and Filter A/B parameters was incorrectly allowed. This has now been fixed.
- Using MOD+> and SHIFT+CONTROL I and SHIFT+PW/MORPH, it’s now possible to add modulation for Waveshaper Offset and Filter A/B Balance.

Works fine over here. There's a Cancel button bottom right.Hanz Meyzer wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 5:48 am Btw. any idea how to use set lists in the VST3? The set list editor seems to be buggy, opens a full screen which cannot be closed, and then the whole plugin window cannot be closed anymore.

Hm, set list always opens with a maximized window / fullscreen. This on a 4k macos 14, with upscaled to 2560x resolution. No cancel button either. But now found out, if you click one preset and then hit ESC, the window will be unmaximized, not blocking the main window anymore.EvilDragon wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 8:15 am Works fine over here. If there will be a "advanced" manual, I will be reading it. But not a manual which tells me how to breathe and use the mouse. JK - even after reading, some points regarding CMT remain unclear to me.Read the manual. It is per instance.

Not sure what you mean by that... If you mean the software, yes the recent version is 1.0.2.
But if you mean the hardware, you need to install Korg System Updater 1.08 first, then connect your hardware, then choose the recent firmware 1.0.4 and flash it.
