This new one pretty cool (2.8.3 pRE1) as has MIDI Sync & Clock Master tested out start/stop/cont fine & BPM following as well for MIDI clock... Experimenting with using SAViHost with multi-timbrals like Farbrausch V2, BR404, BR808, ProteusVX... Since these are used as sound modules no need for MIDI Sync just audio capture-

Well, Finding a good MIDI Sync match is a chore... DreamStation is a solid match a keeper for sure but many others have weird problems...

So sound modules are better for the most part...

Thinking about sound modules Macaw came to mind even though the most current versions are unstable or don't work at all... I find that 3.01.21 is the most stable & has 64bit internal processing... Macaw has much power in it's internal machines & MIDI CC mappings & modulations...

If you do not know Macaw is the more modern version of DeltaSP which has same machine hookups which all tracker-types are familiar with...

Like DeltaSP one needs to insert Silverspike TapeIt (or similar) to record audio as Macaw like DeltaSP is a 'Render output'...

Some powerful plugs inside Universal is at the top can make synthesis by many generated waveforms OR by SF2 brought in OR images-




So you may see where I am coming from, you can also bring in your own VSTi-VST (If passing Scan) but mostly not needed as generators in Macaw have all kinda FX already inside.... channel hookup is pretty good & mostly simple...










Apparently Multi-Timbral Synths are supposed to work in Macaw as well but i am not yet finding the dialog that's supposed to say something like 'Send ALL MIDI Events To Plugin' If Found then one can run Farbrausch or other in it as well...

Extract that into a folder THEN Grab the DLLs & extract those into same folder BARE-

Where did you get the Universal VST. I tried the DAW it was bundled with years ago but it was too buggy. The synth was well impressive tho. I cant remember the name of the DAW

I think Universal came out in a late DeltaSP but was certainly in Oscillastation & then the one you see above is in MaCaW which is free but locked into the DAW... The Dev made some quite killer plugins, don't know how he did it & still remained sane...
