If you could develop a plugin, what would it do?

If I could do it, the plugin I would want to create (or have someone else create) would be a GUI-based SFZ sampler/editor. Imagine SFizz with the ability to edit the SFZ sample files graphically, and have all midi CC controls displayed as knobs, and also available for midi mapping. In fact, it wouldn't even need to be a plugin. I just really, really want a graphical program for creating multisampled SFZ instruments. The format is powerful, but few people have the skills to create an SFZ with these features. This is one that I would pay money for.

That re-esser would have to be quite intelligent though. I've once had to replace every single "ess" by a lisping singer with my own "esses". Not once was I able to copy and paste anything as every "ess" has to have a different pitch and duration depending on the sounds before and after it. This could be something where AI could be useful.RipleySterling wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:21 pmI want a re-esser, essentially a plugin that works like drum replacement but will replace the sibilance in a vocal recording with a new "S". You can probably get it to work with drum replacement plugins, but I've never been able to dial it in well enough.

Convince everyone they absolutely had to have it and make them willingly pay $1,000 for it.

Can't you do that with sends?El°HYM wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:27 pm Wasnt specific enough and actually meant Channel Cross-talk, which indeed Studio One offers. The rest normally just emulates Stereo Cross-talk, yet not the individual Channels, not so sure how the new Sonimus are doing this now?

Yeah, it would need to be a bit clever.Uncovered Pitch wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:26 pmThat re-esser would have to be quite intelligent though. You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.
