wondering if its possible to hook up a wacom pen tablet and being able to use it just like a mouse

and anyone using a touch-screen? id reckon it be cool for cubaseSX instead of using a mouse you'd just use your fingers

I use a wacom graphics tablet with sx and i love it .I had been developing a lot of pain through constant mouse use and using the pen has really helped.
It is hard to get used to though and sometimes behaves erratically but that could be something a driver update may fix.

I am using a tablet as well (not with Cubase though, I use Live and Tracktion), and it works well. I am actually planning to get a Tablet PC (Toshiba M200) to use as a very portable DAW, the combination of VSTs and a touchscreen should be perfect.

I started using a wireless trackball recently as my arm/hand was getting aches and scuffs on the underside and I could feel what I was the beginning of carpel tunnel.

Anyhow, I got a wireless trackball from logitech. Once u get used to this thing its great. You can freely grasp it in your hand and use it quite effectively. I like to sit far back from the daw desk and rest it on my chest pointed towards me. So comfty. All I use to move the mouse is the thumb so hand/arm ache is all gone, really changed the way I produce.

Not really to do with tablets but near enough ;)

They are out of stock right now but I am getting this Wacom touch screen one, also because I have pain in my hands using a mouse:

I prefer the mouse for general use (Microsoft Optical Intellimouse), but I use a Wacom tablet in conjunction with Tiny God MIDITab as a MIDI controller for my Reaktor patches.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.
