I’ve been having a wretched time since the Windows 11 24h2 update. I’m not sure how much is down to MS and how much to ImageLine, but I’m leaning toward blaming Microsoft. I’ve been using Windows for music and my graphics work since 2010 exclusively, and FL Studio since 200?, and this is the first time I’ve ever had issues, and it’s been strictly after the 24h2 update.
Anyway, my point is that image line is bound to patch this up soon, and it’s been such a solid DAW for me for so long, I don’t know if I would reconsider your purchase based on the current flakiness.
But I’d really be interested in hearing from someone who is using The latest FL studio update with Windows 10 or earlier?
Are you having new issues?
Is the stability what you have come to expect? I don’t use my laptop very often which runs Windows 10, but FL studio still seems really solid on that. So, yeah… I’m giving Microsoft side-eye.
resistors are futile you will be simulated

but thanks for the replies.
i'm not sure if i should buy FL 24 or not now.
I wouldn´t pay too much attention to single people having some problems...
Who knows what´s really the problem causing it...
If of the probably ten of thousands FL Studio users using it just fine idk 20-30 or a hundred having problems it´s not an indicator of a buggy software...

FLS has an time unlimited demo... test it (on a supported system... not linux) and you´ll see to which group you belong...
Internet opinions are always risky as mostly people having problems are posting them but rarely the people doing just fine.

I've been using FL on Fedora Silverblue for quite some time (using bottles) and it mostly just works. The only FL native stuff that does not work is the FL Cloud pages becauae they use WebView2 and that just renders a black window for now.
For 3rd party stuff you will definitely have a more hit or miss experience. I only use Sylenth1 from 3rd party and it mostly just works too out of the box. Sometimes FL will close if I open Sylenth1, but it is super rare.
I know it is unsupported on Linux, but that's a choice I am making and not willing to give up haha.

It kept closing on me when ever I try to pull up Guitar Rig 7. Just close, no crash, no boxes. Tried re-installing. Nope. Every other NI thing works. GR 5 works. I just uninstalled it.
