1. The new UI wouldn't be too big a departure, I'd just want to smooth things out and I do think the white background never really worked for this. But I will consider this. Anyway it will probably be the lowest priority unless I hear uproar about it xD.jbraner wrote: Tue Jul 27, 2021 3:17 pm 1 - sure, why not? Make sure it won't get confused with "Pro" though
2 - sure, ver 2 makes sense - then it can run alongside ver 1, for backwards compatability.
3 - maybe you can make it the same as "Pro"? I'm not at my music computer right now, but I think this version's preset management is still a little different from "Pro"...
2. The new cab would be taking Swanky Amp Pro's current cab minus the options (just default to the 4x12) as I think it sounds much better (the cab emulation in the free version was always quite approximate). I just wonder if this will really have a big positive impact since I think most people who care about this are using a 3rd party loader anyway (such as yourself xD).
3. That's exactly what I'm planing on doing. I think it's working very nicely in the pro version.

Personally I'm quite fond of the white UI for Swanky Amp but I'm totally OK with you doing whatever you want, especially if it reduces development overhead on your side. I am a fan of the knobs with the red shaded area. I miss those in the Pro version.

The project is still supported! But unfortunately I don't have plans to continue development in the near-term.
