This suite includes preamplifiers, dynamic processors, and equalizers the latter engineered with the Wien Robinson’s bridge principle and high-precision circuit integration. These stunning modules provide unparalleled versatility, making them ideal for both subtle tonal refinements and dramatic sound shaping.

• Latte Stereo EQ Ultra – High-Fidelity Mastering Equalizer
A mastering-grade active Stereo Equalizer with a smooth, musical response. Offers four parametric bands with extensive control over frequency, gain, and Q-factor. The EQ curves, like their sampled hardware counterparts, behave similarly to classic passive EQs but without the limitations of inductors. This module ensures well-defined lows, clean highs, and a musical, natural tone, even under extreme settings. A powerful tone-shaping tool with multiple preamp stages, a Niveau filter, and a Baxandall EQ designed for tonal balance and harmonic enhancement. This plugin integrates multiple preamp emulations and equalization types for global frequency shaping, making it ideal for stereo mastering and mixing. The filters provide high-low balance adjustments, midrange shaping, and corrections across the frequency spectrum.

The Legacy Behind Latte
Latte pays homage to rare and revered German modular audio systems that have defined high-end mastering and mixing workflows.
Acustica created Latte to celebrate these legendary designs, offering a suite of plugins that allows engineers to process their sound with tools renowned for their unique sonic character. This project was further refined in collaboration with Dragan Tanaskovic, a renowned Swedish sound engineer and former co-manager of Studio Bohus, one of Sweden’s most iconic recording studios that hosted legendary artists such as Abba, Status Quo, In Flames and more, who recorded and mastered some of their most celebrated songs there. In the early 2000s, Dragan commissioned a custom-built, high-end mastering chain, which was provided to us for state-of-the-art sampling. This allowed us to bring its sonic excellence into the digital domain as the Latte plugin suite, offering a modern interpretation of these celebrated analog tools while preserving their sonic depth and musicality.
