Another oscillator, two filters in the main section that can be used in parallel or serial, audio rate modulation with oscillators as sources, and so much more to discover! Super powerful!

I've only had a little time to play with it so far, but everything I hoped for seems to be present and more! I'm excited!!!

yes
Just piggybacking off this to add my own comments:
Is anyone else finding that the clip and arp drive up CPU usage pretty substantially even if you're playing more or less the same number of voices manually?

Very good. Probably my new favorite Supersynth until we see what Zebra 3 has. I think I'll like this UI better either way.

Also only played with it for a little while and apart from the fact that it sounds f***ing spectacular im also impressed by the smooth update process , and it was just pure pleasure to press the preset menu and seeing my beloved Serum 1 libary

Good news!

I checked out some demonstrations on YT, but I don't think this synth is for me. I prefer using Phase Plant, Zebra, Diva, Dune, Spire, etc. I have a feeling if I was to buy Serum 2, it would end up being like another Pigments or Current for me, which I also own, but never use. Then again, I also never really liked Serum 1 either. So it's no surprise. Probably just horses for courses. There will be those who love it, while others won't.

Yeah I tipped then it banned me from the website. It still took the money. and then I had to do it again and say no tip.teilo wrote: Mon Mar 17, 2025 7:44 pm OMG. I got rate limited while trying to purchase the upgrade with a tip.
EDIT: It's back. Tried transaction again. It charged my tip, but Serum did not show up in my account. Purchased the upgrade again for $0, and it showed up.
Looks like the website is still being update.

First impressions: I like that it's quintessentially Serum, but there's so much new, exciting stuff to discover without compromising the already excellent UI. I always thought the 'E' in SERUM would be underlined for v2 though
