1) Click init->init patch
2) Click on Osc1 synthesis mode. There switch None/partial to Noise->White
3) Switch off the equalizer
Thanks.

I know you can’t see folders you make within the other regular folders for the presets, so maybe the wavetable folder works the same way. Not sure though.

Preview: Icarus 3.1

The update to v3.1 will be available for free for all Icarus3 customers.
Icarus 3.1 is downward compatible with all previous versions. All existing song projects and patches can be loaded without any further steps necessary. They will benfit from the enhanced sound-quality.

New features:
  • MPE support for Legato and Mono modes.
  • Added support for custom skins.
  • 'Load Sample' and 'Load Waveform' in the wavetable editor remember the last file location.
Enhancements:
  • Pitchwheel snaps less aggressively to 50%.
  • The new default skin makes it easier to see the structure of the synth. You can change back to the old one in SETUP->Select skin.
Fixes:
  • Workaround for a bug of Windows 11 that messed up the vertical layout of the SeggoeUI font.
  • Fix for a very rare compatibility problem with trackpads on the Mac.

I am hoping you do change the Browser GUI which looks roughly how it looked before you changed the main GUI.
That is I am hoping the Browser GUI now looks similar to the Main GUI.

Even if it is just making the fonts look more uniform.

thanks.

Icarus 3.1 after Serum 2? No way! Serum 2 still lacks all of the cool warp modes Icarus has. I admit, I like Serum's phaser filters and some of its effects more.

Ouch, upgrade price is damn steep ! 79€ for an upgrade is really a big upgrade ! :scared:

I realize there is work behind, but I also realize my money isn't unlimited. :scared:

I need to think about it and read what's new.

Much love anyway.

It is absolutely worth the upgrade, especially for just the granular stuff and new filters (the Ladder filter overlaps with Repro's filter in a good way).

Trackpad fixes for mac? Ooh nice, that's one of my big gripes. Would love a smooth trackpad experience! And happy to see that MPE will work with mono/legato, that's amazing!

edit: Never mind, just noticed it was coming soon, not released.
