SS2 free problem on Windows ME?

I thought it is a good idea to double my post in the instruments forum on the company forum, sorry for any inconvenience.
I installed and registered SS2 free but can't get no sound out of it. There are no crashes, it sees and loads the patches (incl. extra free banks), there's some MIDI activity going on, but no sound at all. I'm using Energy XT with ASIO4All driver, system is WinMe on PIII. I can imagine this may be XP/Me incompatibility, but then in my experience most such product either refuse to install at all or give some sort of error after the installation, which is not the case now. Can anybody help to sort this out? Lotsa thanx in advance.

Yes, sometimes in order to have a plug-in work in RTAS, VST, AU and DXi a developer has to choose to support just the latest operating systems. So, Windows 2000/XP and Mac OSX are supported.Jazz Franco wrote:Oops![]()

Windows ME is not older than Windows 2000. But it´s clear what you mean.Squids wrote:Sonik Synth 2 does not work on older Windows systems than 2000/XP.
