TAL Drum - discussion

Does anyone know if TAL-DRUM responds to midi program changes to change kits? I use it in ~80% of my recent tracks, and now I want to integrate it into my live setup. I can use an Instrument Rack in Ableton to access different patches, but as my set gets ever more unwieldy I'm trying to reduce the number of plugin instances I load.

I guess I can always recreate my kits on my 1010 Blackbox hardware sampler, but the less gear I have to cart around the better, and was wondering if anyone here had a solution

Feature request: pads light up when triggered by MIDI even when the pad has no sample defined. When I'm building a new kit I would like to know which pads I need to fill.

I don't have tal-drum yet but this feature is essential for my current process. I use midi for human feel and then choose samples afterward.

Guys, somebody mentioned that there is an option to randomize loaded samples. I have checked the manual with no luck. Please help.

No more manually keeping the drum map in Cubase in sync with the pad names in TAL-Drum. This quality of life feature finally makes TAL-Drum as convenient to work with as Groove Agent.

Nothing special, just opening up TAL-Drum with named pads.
These are reflected in the Reaper midi editor on the keys on the left.

Thanks. My problem was I was loading TAL-Drum from a template which included a default key names file. Loading the plugin alone works fine
