Is there any way to load user wavetables in Hive 2 via folder shortcuts?

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere, I did a search and couldn't find anything.
The Hive 2 manual states that to load user wavetables, the wavetable files have to be in a specific folder. For me (I'm using Windows 10), the folder they need to be in is actually a different one than that listed (adding wavetable files to the Hive 2 wavetable folder DOES work).
However, what I'd like to do is load user wavetables from a different folder- e.g. if I want to load wavetables from Pigments, I have to copy them to the Hive 2 folder and have two copies on my hard drive.
Is there any way to do this? I thought maybe I could create a shortcut to a folder in the Hive 2 folder, but that didn't work. Is my only option to have duplicate copies of all of my wavetables in the Hive 2 folder?
Thank you in advance!

Tried junction points?
If not, get Link Shell Extension and give it a go.

To be honest, it's a bit more advanced than my Windows skill level, so I wasn't really expecting to install and learn new software just to be able to load user wavetables! Other synths I have just let you add a folder in the UI, much more suited to my skill level haha. But this doesn't look unachievable

Junction points/symbolic links can be done from the Windows command line but LSE makes it really easy. I use it for all sorts of things, like spreading Kontakt libraries 'invisibly' across two different drives.
Let me know if you need a hand.

BTW I have tested this from scratch for Hive, and it works on my system. I basically copied one of the factory wavetable folders somewhere else, renamed it, then created a junction point to that folder inside Hive.data>Wavetables , and it shows up fine.
