What do they do?
Thanks. :ud:
For those who don’t know how the test results differ and don’t want to read up on it the short version is that the DSP test focuses on running plugins whereas the “VI” test focuses on the number of voices played back when using virtual instruments. There’s an argument to be made then that if you’re mostly mixing and not playing back instruments in realtime the DSP test might be a better indicator of what performance you’ll get, whereas if you play virtual instruments in realtime the “VI” test is more appropriate.

The number 64/128/256/512 = ASIO buffer
DAWBench VI = KONTAKT
DAWBench BUS = +- Serial processing/single thread
DAWBench DSP = +- Algorithm stuff like GForce/Moog/u-he/Synapse/VCV Rack/Melda/Valhalla/Soundtoys/Eventide/Lexicon/ToneBoosters/Zynaptiq/Voxengo/FabFilter
But BUS and DSP are using SGA1566 https://www.shatteredglassaudio.com/product/104
So keep in mind that different plugins generate different results!
A Diva/Pigments/Phase Plant/Synplant/ETC test may not have the same results like SGA1566.

An interesting video of Ryzen 9 9950X3D vs Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. At 13:05 is the audio part.

In the test, AMD didn't like the cooler, AMD likes coolers with a flat base plate and offset mounting bars.

I would love to see the windows 10 results for low latency comparisons,
Cubase 13 and 2667 v2. As long as you do not want Acoustia audio plugins all is fine.

So, finally found -here- some Mac M3 and M4 vs. the win-world infos.

Thanks @Pictus
