hi,
i want to create a soundeffect like your music is played on the radio. BUT imagine you have a clear sound in the radio-station and then you start moving the knob - the higher frequencies get 'dirty'/distorted and there is a unclear noise in the background (not just a simple noise?!), you move the knob more and you hear some frequecies of your music distorted (compressed?!) with the noise of the background. imagine you drive the car and the radio-receiption is sometimes clear, sometimes not, sometimes noise only, sometimes its mixed with another station and you hear both distorted and noisy..
whats the best way to do it besides mixing 3 layer on top (noise/distorted/normal)?! is there a plugin to create that radio-effect?

Try Kjaerhus Audio Classic Phaser, it has an "Old Radio" preset which might be what you're looking for.
