So maybe on the AM knob, the label could be a switch between "AM | RM", just like the FM knob.
I've tried cross-"PD" (phase distortion) in Serum 2 using two plain samples. The second -3 octaves, muted. It sounds really good in Serum 2. So if you would imagine the second sample/osc just like a complex, separated "distortion recording", this seems to make a lot of sense.
I am not sure why it seems to sound better in Serum 2, might be some algorithmic detail? Though the "PD" mode seems to be more like FM? Tried the same in MSoundFactory, but sounds really crappy over there.
