ALICE-9 expected in 1-2 months...

Employs a complex VCO engine described as somewhere between sample and wavetable (suspect THING uses the same). Includes many sampled VCOs, filters, and envelope shapes. Sounded very interesting over livestream. Looking forward to proper audio examples & demo.

Speaking about photorealism, this gets really close in a very good way.
Regardless of the sound quality (which probably be will outstanding as well) it adds to the enjoyment of using the synth.

The UI reminded me of UDO too. It's not a 'clone' of anything; they are working on another clone for later in the year. Waiting for Acustica to post more (livestream presentation wasn't the best audio quality). They said they developed RICE as the reverb for this.

It's very Roland+ looking (ie, inspired by those Roland synths but adding extra oscillators and so on). I wouldn't be surprised if it's a lot of using the same stuff in Thing underneath with a new skin, and maybe some different oscillator/filter samples.

VCOs are also misleading; it's more than VA. They gave some examples which sounded more digital hybrid like PPG.
