I was just playing around with a sound that has a slow attack (3 or 4 secs) but sustain and release set to zero for an abrupt cut. Can anyone think of a way to add reverb and delay to the sound but is not only cut but the effects RESET on a note-off event? I don't want the tail of the previous note / chord to reappear on the next note. Ta!
if we talk about Avenger, i would use the ModEnv. to do so.
Set ModEnv to
Mode: "Sustain Res Jump"
Trigger: "Last Midi Note"

end then assign the ModEnv to your Reverb and Delay Mix

Close to what c0LIn suggests, but modulate the DelayFBKill and AA-REVERB's KillFeedback parameters instead.

Only the AA-REVERB has this feedback parameter. The other reverbs do not have it.

Ah-ha! Terrific, thank you!

EDIT - I needed to invert the shape of the mod env, but otherwise it worked perfectly. (Just realised setting the mod to negative number would do the same thing).

How is it Artsacoustic are able to add updates to their built in reverb but not their plugins?

Post

they dont, we improved our version

Post

Ah so you have the source code?

Post

killing the feedback does not require changes in the Source Code

Oh no... I knew this time would come one day but I wasn’t prepared yet...

For the first time in my life I heard just released kick drums from Vengeance that sound like garbage to my ears (the zaag ones)...

I’m there... I don’t get the hype anymore... I’m officially getting old... :scared:

But I want the expansion anyway, the other sounds are absolutely excellent !

Probably a dumb question, but are Avenger owners supposed to get emails to notify about the new versions or is there no newsletter sendout?

i think there is no newsletter about new version, only new expansions and sales.

Anyone know if you can send the Arp MIDI out to another vst synth?

If it's not possible please add this feature so we can use this powerful feature with other synths and samplers etc!

You can route the MIDI out to another track with another synth on it or pass MIDI through to another synth on the same track or save and export the MIDI

I found what the problem was. The new mode doesn't work. The custom mode. All else seems to work.
Maybe there is some MIDI limitation to be able to send that MIDI data out?

Thx
