Try #150 06/2018. I just checked that issue (physical copy) for it and they promoted it on page 5.

I really can't answer this I delivered the plugin at certain time then I heard nothing back from them until someone here or some other forum opened a new thread saying that the plugin was out...

HoRNet wrote: Thu Jun 29, 2023 1:48 pm Honestly I don't know since this was a plugin requested by the magazine and I don't think I can release it to the public...I can Make an advanced version but which features can we add?

Saverio
Oh Man! I thought you'd never ask...

Here are a few ideas for possible add-ons:

-Pre emphasis and De emphasis eq like on your Harmonics Pro
-Input and output level can be linked to keep level constant
-Additional Resampling modes, (i.e. sample & hold, linear interpolation, interleaving
interpolation, & sinusoidal interpolation)
-An A/D knob to set the amount of aliasing introduced in the A/D conversion
-An D/A knob to set the amount of aliasing introduced in the D/A conversion
-High Pass and Low Pass Filter options
-A Wet/Dry knob for blending back in some of the original input signal
-Scalable GUI
Wow thank you, impressive set of ideas, I can definitely do that (btw we are working on emulating specific samples sound (AKAI MPC, S900, Roland SP 404, etc.) with neural networks but we are still in the very early stages...

Cool! Not an easy task though.

If you're working on an insert effect, then please don't forget to add a pitch shift feature similar to waveTracing SP950 to simulate playing a sample a couple of semitones lower/higher than the base key. The anti-aliasing filters should stay at half of the base sample rate. This will reveal the aliasing when pitching down/up.

SP-202 and SP-303 are the ones to emulate btw. 8)

Hey Saverio,

Any chance on giving us a detailed list of which samplers you intend to emulate?
I'm very curious to know what y'all got in the works.
Much like Lotus2019, I can think of a few that would be some sweet additions...

Totally agree with what was said so far; the SP-303 for the sound, maybe the 404 more for the Vinyl Sim FX. Another one with unique sound and not widely spread is the Zoom SampleTrak. A Jitter - Function for the overall Plugin could also be very useful.

Hi nothing special at the moment, we are just experimenting with the AI training, if you have ideas or a favourite list please feel free to suggest so we can look for the hardware!

Just bought it but I can't say that it amazes me for the resulkt You can obtain. Lately I've been a litle bit disappointed by the quality of hornett releases (not to be an hater, I own all their plugins and I am Italian too;-)

Well that is simply the algorithm of VNTG Digital plus more option and analog frontend and backend :)

I think things start to be interesting when you stack a plugin like this, if for example you put it on every drum sound & loop you are summing aliasing and quantization noise... I'll make a demo video later today and then a "virtual sampler" one :)

First Off, Great Plug Saverio.

I think it would be Dope if on the next update of this plug, that the drop down menu’s for Bit Depth be knobs instead, with the ability to have a completely variable selections of Bit Depths between 1 and 24. Similarly, yet something I desire even more than that is to have the drop down menu for Sample Rate be a knob, with the ability to have a vastly much more variable dialing in of the Sanple Rate frequency.
