Hi all,

Second post here now haha. I'm curious to see if anyone has any pointers on those distorted basslines starting at 2:30 of Porter's remix:

I'm thinking some sort of bitcrushing effect is on the sound, but trouble with choosing which basic waveform starts as the foundation for the sound, and wondering what sort of other technique are involved in creating these sounds.

I'm using sylenth btw!

The easiest way is to use 2 layers

1st A louder square with a quieter saw. Low pass this and eq to boost the frequency around 140 that gives it that piercing low sound.

2nd. highpass that same sound on the 2nd layer and distort it nd maybe highpass again or use eq and see how changing the cutoff and distortion affect the sound
