Sorry I'm not sure, but I thought it was the current series of discounted bundles/sale that were coming to an end, but maybe it is a transition to subscription?wayford wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 11:16 am Are UAD bundles actually going away for good? I keep seeing that they're going to stop selling them.

Well, Waves, as an example, increased their plugin sale prices (if I recall correctly). UAD might have new bundles, which could be more expensive too. I have a lot of free stuff from them anyway, but it's probably classic FOMO.av_ wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 11:26 am I think they just got tired of making money. They will discontinue all their products and shut down forever.

Yes. They have already warned that they are having problems with high demand. It took a day, but I received the installers... Tip: I would persist, re-subscribing a few times until your email arrives.paolostylo wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:50 amsprnva wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 1:39 pm Dear Reality are discontinuing their plug-ins. Indeed, after the amp emulator series (which is more related to pedals) they haven't released any new plugins... Maybe that's a sign. However, they still sell a lot of stuff bundled with hardware, I don't think it would be worth discontinuing.wayford wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 11:41 amWell, Waves, as an example, increased their plugin sale prices (if I recall correctly). Maybe UA Connect is taking up all their resources.
If they had any sense they'd get rid of it and just use regular plugin installers like any normal company. iLok is already there to handle the activation.

FWIW, the change to machine authorization was completely effortless.pekbro wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 4:51 pm I just uninstalled all my UAD stuff, as it refuses to let me relocate anything ignoring the content

Yea, for me it’s not about that, I just don’t want all the stuff in my root drive. I have like 16 plugins, almost 2 gb worth of UA connect and support files.Uncle E wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 7:32 pmFWIW, the change to machine authorization was completely effortless.pekbro wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 4:51 pm I just uninstalled all my UAD stuff, as it refuses to let me relocate anything ignoring the content
