I’m putting myself on a tight leash to make this happen… Starting today, as last night I ordered a D’oh of the Dead Swatch Watch that showed up cheap.Shabdahbriah wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:40 amIndeed. Checkout the manual for this... it would definitely work well with that combo. Key word there, being 'playable'. So cool! May make it happen.elxsound wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 11:38 pm I really want one of those.
A custom, maybe even DIY case seems likely in my future. I’d love to have space for this, plus an extra Bruxa and extra Multimod. Then there’s always something else, but playable delays are too much fun.
Seriously though, I’m taking down measurements for another in the shelf setup and it looks like I can go wide with 146hp and 10U? I’d like to add the Make Noise 1U bus, so this would be fun.

Well, I made some noise, (thru a very noisy peavey amp
My old kybd has midi, but it's huge, so not practical. My audio interface has midi, so can run from pc too, which I was planning to do anyway, but wanted a separate kybd too.
It's also evident I need a lot more stuff I didn't consider, like multis and mods etc
Patience is key I think.

mults, off case befaco stars, cheap as chips.seafire wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:03 pmWell, I made some noise, (thru a very noisy peavey amp) but not without problems. I realised my new (ish) little midi kybd doesn't have midi out, only usb, so will need a diff kybd (prob a Swing, it's cheap). Had to manually trigger envs.

Yes it does. Very nice.

This arrived today and I currently have the Edge going into it with headphone out to main IN and VCA into the 3.5mm jack on top. With the switch set to "P" for parallel, it is a stereo delay (pink & red)

I thought that Behringer module will act as a class compliant USB host so if you have the right lead shouldn’t it work letting you use pitch and gate outs from the module?seafire wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:03 pm I realised my new (ish) little midi kybd doesn't have midi out, only usb, so will need a diff kybd (prob a Swing, it's cheap). Not sure I understand. The midi kybd only has a USB input/output, which is the big one, not the slim rectangular one, same as the cv/midi module.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 5:31 amI thought that Behringer module will act as a class compliant USB host so if you have the right lead shouldn’t it work letting you use pitch and gate outs from the module?seafire wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:03 pm I realised my new (ish) little midi kybd doesn't have midi out, only usb, so will need a diff kybd (prob a Swing, it's cheap). Basically I can plug the PC into the module and sequence that way, or use the din midi from my audio interface.
Edit: OK, I get you. Yes, it does work like that, it's just that my small midi controller won't physically connect to it, so I have to use the PC or my old controller (which is too big, so I never use it)

Yeah, I seem to remember you giving me some wood working tips when I was making my DIY case. Or maybe that was someone else.
The finish on yours looks a lot nicer than mine did in any case, lol.
