I have checked myself into a psychiatric hospital. The social worker is helping me to downgrade to 1.4.4, but they are waiting for the meds to start working before we take that step. Wish me well. My lawyer says I have a good case. We'll see.

JK - I see no difference in the update load time. But I might look into the psych hospital anyway.
Your lawyer is just blowing smoke up your arse to fatten his fee ..

When you check yourself into the hospital, after you have had it approved by your health care provider, they will tell you that it is a pre-existing condition that was merely exasabated by the latest release of Massive X,so there are no deductibles....

You're on the hook for the full whack there buddy...

You might have better luck suing NI,but that might be a little tricky as well, because private equity companies are not known for their overt generosity
Thx guys. I appreciate the help. The food is really good here, BTW, and the atmosphere, calming (if you can ignore Mike screaming in the corner).

Updated MX today. Still the same length load time but also an issue where reopening the plugin and all the controls were non responsive. Plus it all seems to be lagging quite signicantly, feels sluggish to turn knobs, etc.

This shouldn't even be a thing. I don't know why NI persists with this annoying design. One click to open a preset should be enough.
I think I know why. This is likely done for consistency across other browsers, e.g. Komplete Kontrol, Kotankt, etc. I wouldn't want to open each and every Kontakt library with a single click on a preset. The current design allows you to preview the preset with a single click which is enough most of the times. And I wouldn't want to have different browsing behaviours in different NI plugins.

Yes, but it forgets this setting for every new instance. I don't understand why this default setting cannot be saved like you can save the scaling size of the plugin.
Same issue with default size and settings of Komplete Kontrol. It's just stupid.

btw, no noticeable loading issues on another Win 11 PC - unlike 4K on nVidia, this time it's a Full HD laptop on intel Iris chip.
Both machines experience graphic glitches when moving the plugin window. But once the window position change is finished, the proper graphics is restored.

Oh an update! The multiband dynamics/ott is a nice addition.
BUT
give me more stereo fx slots please^^

I want the Stepper back (with presets). I really wish they would 'Reaktor-ize' this and let a person add modules in the Polyphony area. You could build anything (almost) you wanted. I also want separate controls for the Serial and Parallel filters.

Still not fully compatible though with NI's own keyboards (or Maschine for that matter)

Still no ability to save user banks

Both things just makes no sense

Is there a parameter randomization button like in version 1? I can't seem to find it.

Post

There isn't.

Just for clarity - by this, do you mean poly AT support, or supporting tweaking parameters beyond the 16 macros, or both?

Post

I’m glad they are doing something with Massive X. OTT is great but I feel like should have included a least one additional fix slot for it, hopefully it’ll be getting more attention going forward.

Indeed! Despite falling short of user requests, it shows that MX is an ongoing concern.

Poly AT (or any AT when it comes to Maschine)

Please make the parameters mappable so I can control it with my encoders and tablet!!

Anyone has this issue btw?
Maybe its because i use ableton live (daw specific), but if i click the arrow icons on the interface, any arrow icon wavetable/presets, then press spacebar, it selects the next item (wavetable or preset), which is a bit annoying because i want to start/stop transport, not lose the preset i was crafting :p
I have to click outside the window first, and sometimes i forget...

(Its been there for a while and i see no report bug thread on NI forums. )
